I was at that game and it was extremely disappointing . The Notre Dame Fans however were very nice. I didn't realize how rural it is. The big restaurant in the area was the local "Golden Corral". The parking lot was full of Amish Buggies and my Brother in law and I had the misfortune of being behind several large families in the buffet line. I was there too, all the ND fans around us were congratulating us assuming they were going to win and I assured them that I know my Aztecs and this game isn't over yet. About 3 plays later that fumble happened. I also recall tailgating before and remarking to the friends we were with that I had never seen so many white people in one place before.

Wow, that's pretty cool that we got 4 games with them. I would have preferred a new opponent, but pretty cool non-the-less.

Mizzou is OK, but I hope it will lead to playing other schools in the SEC!

Bama isn't going to FoCo or Fresno at any point on this earth for football Maybe, but if they could get a game against them then we should be able to schedule one also. No matter if it is there. Besides, CSU does have a nice new stadium, so why wouldn't 'Bama want to play there? All the more reason I believe we should be talking with Notre Dame, and get them on a H&H, since they were here just last season. They will play anybody anywhere because they realize (unlike most Big Name teams) what a big boost it is to their PR & recruiting to play all over the USA.

Home and home with Mizzou, and then a home and home with someone else like, Tenn., Fla., Ark., Kentucky, etc. would have been more interesting, but not bad.

Absolutely off the charts great news...
Really, just fantastic, we can now point to this tonopen up future HnH games with SEC, B1G and B12...
If you count four games as two HmHs then the whole of the P12 has only 10 HnHs scheduled according the future schedules.
Stadium stuff is going really well Scheduling is going really well
It’s good to be an Aztec!

Didn’t we turn down a game against Alabama a few years ago? Huge payday at $1M. I don’t remember details, anyone else remember this?

We turned it down for the very reason they're called "bodybag" games.

Notre Dame was small time many decades ago, and only raised themselves up do to great coaching, and developing their players well. They do have a heart for teams that are not necessarily big name.
