I can agree with that. Christian doesn't have the same weapons as that team, and Christian is very talented. Having said that, Billy Blanton was the man!!!! I'd take him in my foxhole any day!!! Are you talking about the whole team, or just one player? Chapman is good and he doesn't need to have all the weapons of a particular team. He has some of the best special talents which make him a winner. That is the main reason he was named on the Johnny Unitas watch list this season! Last year he threw for almost 2000 yds., and 20 TD's with only 6 INT's, but most important of all he is 4-0 in games that count! 2 and 0 in MW Championship games and 2-0 in very good bowl games (beat both Cincy & Houston from the AAC!) Those are some of the most important stats to have! I'm saying that Christian is very good and in trying to compare him to Blanton would be tough, because he doesn't have the same weapons as Blanton did.

Wyoming was ranked #16 in the country at the time. The Cowboys were very good. But you left out three 1997 NFL draft picks from that Aztec team: Will Blackwell (WR Steelers) Nate Jacquet (WR Colts) Ricky Parker (DB Bears) And don't forget RB Obafemi Ayanbadejo, who wasn't drafted but had a long NFL career. And don't forget Az Hakim, who was drafted in 1998. And don't forget a young Kabeer Gbajabiamila, who was drafted in 2000. Don't forget Ephraim Salaam. Kyle Turley too. I smoked weed with most of this list while a student here. Not Turley who was my neighbor across the hall at the old fish bowl Apts on Hardy. Salaam played a year for Trenkle's basketball team, earning the nickname "Shaq of the WAC."

I was a 20 year old frat douche in my second sophomore year. This was also Fight Night at the Murph, according to the UT. I got booted from the game after the very first fight of the night. LOL

We ended the nation's longest winning streak this night.
Then we followed it up next week with a loss to UNLV, ending the nation's losing streak. A win gets us a possible Top 25 ranking, the Holiday and the WAC Title outright. The loss gave us no bowl and a major reason why the MWC was born. WYO got cheated out of a bowl that year and #6 BYU got robbed of an Alliance Bowl.

What do you do for a living? Do you have children? The reason I ask is, most of the people I knew from my adolescent years that spoke weed, were all do-nothing, losers, that generally went no where. I am just trying to figure out if the view I have of stoners can be wrong.

I am just trying to figure out if the view I have of stoners can be wrong. No problem. Yes, I am. I'm not rich by any means, but I do have ownership stakes in two businesses. 1. I help felons find work. Mainly just released folks. I work with probation and parole. 2. A medical marijuana edible company. This was more of being in the right place at the right time with the right friends. I'm also a dissertation away from a PhD in education. I'm not likely to complete this though No kids. I do have a long-term GF and 3 dogs. And a nice house on a golf course with less than 8 years to pay off. I'm 41. Also, most people I know smoke weed. I know doctors, lawyers, business owners, and other successful professionals. I also know those exact burnouts you spoke of. It isn't the weed. It's the person.
