I wonder if one of our tweeters could send one to Jim Rome? If Rome or Doug Gottlieb for that matter had the right take on this & they skewered Ernie on the air waves perhaps Ernie would give in and do the right thing?? Thoughts on this? This. Get Gottlieb involved... see if he will talk about it for 5 minutes on his show and it'll take off from there. SDUT should write an article about it, hell even Bleacher Report. By the time it makes ESPN or SI.com... one would think WSU would be shamed into relenting.

I can see it now: 6'10 Center who averaged 3.8 points a game on a team that went 1-17 in conference blocked from transferring!

And yes, given the lack of college BB news going on at this time of year, I can easily see them publishing a 2-paragraph story. And that would be sufficient.

And that would be sufficient. ESPN actually put a story up (& it's still there) about how Izundu's back-up and another player who has zero aspirations for the NBA put their names in the hat for the draft, but won't hire an agent.
Yes, ESPN is desperate for stories this time of year if you can get on their radar.
Gottlieb seems like the perfect target. Don't know if he responds to emails as much as Twitter, which I'm not involved. Someone needs to send something to him with Ziegler's article, and a note about wronging a good college student athlete needs to be addressed. This is the one day in my life I wish I was on Twitter (& will probably never happen again).

On their radar is the point... if Gottlieb picks it up and runs with it a little bit, others will most likely follow. So yes, folks who are out "Tweeters" (?) should Tweet at him and get him onto the story.

Izundu was a student athlete - who if correct had a 3.0 GPA , should first talk with the academic part of WSU and even ask to talk with the President or chancellor at WSU . Make the extra effort to try to do something through the system and then suggest he may have his attorney or other legal groups get involved . WSU can temporarily win the battle but then lose many other battles recruiting wise - players can and do talk to other players/recruits . This can only hurt WSU going forward . Would also suggest to WSU alums that they want to talk with to fellow alums or any other contacts they have at WSU,about how poorly WSU comes off in this situation . Izundu is not going back there so they have every thing to lose and nothing to gain . In my long corporate experience with such matters, the kid should just cut to the chase and turn an attorney loose on the school administrators ASAP. That's the only thing that will get the attention of these knuckleheads. If he plays nice, they'll just ignore him, and he'll end up in a legal wrangle anyway. No way do these guys reverse themselves unless someone knocks them aside their collective heads with a 2x4. That's just not the way the world works.

Our recruiting has been pathetic when it comes to front court players
It's obvious that our conference is not attractive..big men want to play great competition..not sub standard teams

He saw how the Aztecs used those skills and decided that the Aztecs are the team for him. If that story is to be believed, is it a giant leap in logic to think that skilled multi-tool big men have watched our Aztecs play and had the opposite reaction? If you had narrowed your focus to say Gonzaga and the Aztecs, as a skilled big where would you go?
