Nolan played the 4 in HS . He is learning the 5 position this year while red shirting this year . Very likely could become the best shooting 5 from the outside we have had . But he has zero college experience , take a look at Zylan this year - he also red shirted . Aztecs also offered another 5 Kone but he went to another PAC school also . Aztecs have not usually offered numerous guys they have a narrow list and hope to land a select few . Our coaches did try to recruit J. Allen but he has sights on a P5 school . Is watching to see best fit in the spring after guys leave for the NBA . My point on goal for the team SW16 or just MW champs . When you get to MM SW16 ,you are playing quality teams that usually have a decent guy or two down low ,that we will need to defend . We played Kansas , Utah and CAL this year in OOC . Next year , Fisher knows he needs to schedule some top 25 teams during OOC. Utah is going to be in same Hawaii T as us . No way he is better than Manker and Manker is 7ft so that is the best in our history and will be a tough one to beat.

Jarrett is one of four uncommitted players at this year's McDonald's All-American game and has narrowed his list of schools down to Texas, Houston, Kansas, Kentucky, Notre Dame and UNC. What do you think Houston's chances are?

They need to watch the SDSU NIT game tonight in order to see the guys that they will be playing with in the fall.

Jarrett Allen down to three schools, Houston, Texas & Kansas. Knocked out Notre Dame and Kentucky. Leonard Allen Jr. radio silence. No new news, preferred walk-on?

would guess he would prefer to get scholarship to a college this fall or play another year of JC . Walk on and pay out of state expenses at SDSU ?

Maybe Fish will get Izundu for 1 year and then offer Leonard Allen after he has another year at SDCC and he won't have to sit out a year? Gives Allen another year to work on his game getting to Div 1 skill level? He had decent JC stats and sounds like he goes after the ball on defense with a lot of blocked shots. I for one would like to see the #5 position filled with someone who is a scoring threat.

Nolan Narain could be the best shooting 5 Aztecs have had under Fisher - per the coaching staff

What's the word on Leonard Allen II? Preferred walk on status? He has to be in San Diego for a reason, right? I watched Dad play and he could rebound, block, and dunk. It sounds like he can do that now.

And the second clue consists of one word: IZUNDU.

Sometimes it's smart to have a silent offer or commit. Once you offer other teams come piggy backing and you never know what will happen next. Coaches could have already talked to him about playing one more year of JC ball and joining the team next year....

Allen is next year prospect not this year

Allen is next year prospect not this year If he was a non-qualifier out of HS, then yes he is. Some around here seem to believe he wasn't a NQ, and therefore is recruitable this year (assuming he hasn't screwed anything up academically).
Bottom line - if he was worthy and/or eligible to play at the D1 level he'd have received offers by now. The lack of any news on his recruiting (by anyone) speaks volumes, and has for months.

No offers at this point = UnQualifed
This is the only thing I can think of....
