I am no inside knowledge whether he wants to transfer but thought this may be a good fit for us:
Justin Simon is a 6ft 5 shooting guard from Temucula, Ca. He was a top 100 player last year in the 2016 class. We were on his final list but he decided to go to Arizona. He currently didn't play too much this year for them (played behind an excellent player), and they just signed a top 20 player that plays his position. He is supposedly an excellent defensive player. If he transferred, he would need to sit out a year, and then could be a excellent replacement for D. Allen.
We have 2 open scholarships. We definitely need to use one on a big one, but I think that we could use the other one on an combo guard since next year we will lose both Shirley and Allen.

We already replaced them with the two transfers sitting out this year.We need to replace Spencer and Chol with those scholarship's.So far at the 5 we have Narain and the 6-9 185 recruit.Neither of those guys will be heavy enough to play the 5 so technically we have no one at the center position.

I watched a few Arizona games late in the season and I didn't see him play any minutes. He was riding the pine the whole time. I think he may transfer to New Mexico. I remembered he responded to a few tweets to the New Mexico fans before signing with Arizona.

He's a good player, and would fit well with our system, but like others said, we need bigs currently. A graduate transfer 5 man would be a really nice gap filer for a season while our young bigs mature and adjust to the physicality of the game. I would def take Simon on as an Aztec, and I bet the coaches would, too. Curious as to what their take is on the matter.

I thought the same thing when Zona picked up two 5-Star guards in the class of 2016: Rawle Alkins SG 6'4 205 Brooklyn, NY & Kobi Jordan-Simmons PG 6'6 185 Alpharatta, GA, plus will 5-star Trier come back or go to the NBA?

I don't think Simon transferring is too much of a long shot, Arizona is still after Josh Jackson and Terrence Ferguson as well. How many scholarships do we have? If we have 2 (or 2 open up), I'd use 1 for him for sure if he wanted to come.

From the Long Beach board concerning Hawaii's 6-11 Stefan Jankovic.: People assuming Jankovic takes his get : out of jail free card and transfers (anyone : on UH roster is free to bail w/out sitting). : That seems to be the consensus from the UH : posters on the BW Board as well. We'll see. : Hawaii is on a 1 year ban from the post season .

If Jankovuc transfers he will have a very long list of suitors, was pretty highly recruited out of HS (committed to Missouri), he doesn't fit our mold defensively.

So he can play in their tournament game this year ? There could be numerous guys putting their names on the transfer list by the beginning of April . Our coaches head down to Houston for the coaches meetings during MM . That is when they received the tip on Josh Davis .

Justin Simon would be a great fit here, but I'm not so sure he jumps ship just yet.
