If he can keep from committing on his trip to Colorado or the week or so following, we'll be in good shape. It's a long time between the Colorado visit and his visit here so if he doesn't commit to them early, they could accept a commitment from a lessor SF/PF they've offered. Until then, it'll be Beywatch around here, without the boobs.

[ According to the article they have offered a couple high profile wings who could commit soon. I hope they do and Bey holds out till his visit to SDSU. Although I must admit the article scares me, all these young talented players coming together, many are friends and anything can happen. I wish we were hosting this elite camp at SDSU.

Why aren't we? Hmmm, good point. Sounds like a great idea to me.

While the coaching staff doesn't have an elite camp they had their team camps. I believe Timmy Allen, Miles Norris, Taeshon Cherry, among others were there. I can't remember who else may have attended

Priority #1 is making sure he takes his visits after Sept 8th! Don't want to see any "Bey commits" headlines in mid September! Colorado's a good program - not going to be easy.

The top teams in the PAC 12, most likely to be invited to MM, will have names like Arizona, Oregon, USC, ucla, and Washington. Cal, ASU, Stanford and UTAH will also have a say. Colorado is nearer the middle OR back of the line when the invitations get passed out. They are one injury away from being MM spectators (again).
The Aztecs will be on top, or very near the top of the mwc and, therefore, will offer a much better opportunity to go Dancing in March. Mr. Bey gets to decide which is the best opportunity for him.

The Aztecs will be on top, or very near the top of the mwc and, therefore, will offer a much better opportunity to go Dancing in March. Mr. Bey gets to decide which is the best opportunity for him. Colorado is expected to be better than many of those teams outside of 3 or 4. Definitely better than Cal & Utah IMO. King & Fortune are terrific players. They're actually pretty deep and very experienced. They were in the dance last year & they should be top 6 & very likely in the dance again this year. They've been in the NCAA tournament 4 of the 5 years they've been in the P12, and this year should be 5 of 6. That's pretty consistent. 3-4 of their guys have been injured & missed some time in the past, but you could say the same about us as well (Pope, Z, Hemsley, Izundu, Teki, Shrigs). I think a LOT of teams are "one injury away" - especially a Cal & Utah! The question is the following year - they'll lose 4 very good players, and possibly 5 if King comes out early. Some recruits may see that as a potential decline, but if a program has been solid for 5+ years under the same coach, other very recruits may see that as opportunity & PT. Colorado is LEGIT. Great facilities; good history; solid coach; good conference. I still like our chances with him, but it's FAR from being even slightly close to a slam dunk unfortunately. If you want a review of the P12 & Colorado, here's a good yet very brief one. It's old, but still relevant & good. Stanford lost Allen, which drops them a spot, and Cal kept Rabb, which moves them up a couple. But the rest is fine. IMO Wilner is by far the most informed writer when it comes to the P12. blogs.mercurynews.com/collegesports/2016/04/07/pac-12-basketball-4/

as always going to be a battle for quality talent . Depends on where he sees best fit for him . Hope he realizes he might as well see all the schools on his list to get best comparison . Or will he even ask for in home visits for his family to get more involved ?

Sunk like a stone. Who are the names ahead of him on California's ESPN list? However, I think Jordan went from 80 to 81.
