he probably would have been an allstar this year if he didn't get injured.
he's been having a tough time defending blake griffin this series. somebody on the spurs gotta knock blake to the ground the next time he goes for a dunk, and the spur that does it can't be kawhi cause the spurs can't afford to lose him. anyways, I'm looking forward to the adjustments when they go back to texas. go kawhi!

So who's still saying that KL isn't better than Scottie? The Real Oracle Out Still too early man. He's got the potential though. Gonna enjoy this ride that we are treated to in having Kawhi rep SDSU!

I concur. Why even compare him to a hall of fame player? Just let him enjoy the ride and create his own future. He is Kawhi playing as Kawhi, not Kawhi trying to be Pippen, or anyone for that matter. He doesn't need to follow anyone's footsteps, nor be compared to anyone. He is going down his own road and doing a hell of a job.

That boy bouta get paiiiiid. Finals MVP, DPOY, improved offensive game, improved numbers all around. Barely turning 24 in June. Great to see him work so hard and remain so hungry and humble. Class act of a man.
We are all so proud of Kawhi, a legendary Aztec.

Imagine how good he'd be if he would have stayed four years. What a mistake!

2 things:
-Kinda surprised he won this, thought Draymond would get it since he played more games. Really awesome though Kawhi is the best wing defender in the NBA by far.
-You guys gotta let the Jimmer thing go man. It's just ridiculous at this point.

Diaw was trying to tell Kawhi "Hey here you take him". Totally unfair assignment that deep in the key.

Not really a surprise when you look at personal fouls committed. Draymond was top 5 in the NBA in personal fouls committed. So yes he blocked alot of shots but he also fouled alot. 238 Personal fouls to Kawhi's 120 personal fouls. That swung the votes and took out Draymond even for consideration of the award. Plus he complained alot on foul calls and had 11 technicals . Kawhi of course will never receive a technical.

23 years old. An entire future still ahead of him. (LOL that's obvious, but still…)
He may well turn out to someday become the "Marshall Faulk" AND "Tony Gwynn" of Aztecs MBB…
Now keep on winning and drive that team to the NBA Championship!

It is rather strange the an NBA champion, NBA Finals MVP, and NBA DPOY would not be an All-Star.

Green was an elite defender, guarded 4 positions, and played 20 more games than Kawhi. I think Kawhi deserved it and am super happy for him, but to say fouls took Green out of consideration is crazy. He was one of the favorites and a lot of people's pick to win. He also finished second and had more first place votes than Kawhi. It was really close.
