Get the heck out of Washington... dropped to 1-4 today... with a 3.16 ERA and 1.12 WHIP.
The Nats have scored a grand total of 9 runs in his 5 starts... and played $hitty defense (giving up 4 unearned runs in his 5 starts).
When does his current contract expire?

He'd look good in Dodger Blue.

That team was about one out away from an NLCS trip last year. It's a good franchise. Bad luck so far this year, but he's in good hands.

Bryce Harper is 20 years old and is currently the league MVP. He can't even celebrate with a post game beer and he's an absolute stud.
This is a clown thread bro.

They have a solid team that was also very good last season. Also have some very good prospects on the way, like that Rendon kid.
They'll be fine.

Thread fail. Nationals are a very good franchise at the moment. He's had bad luck with run support so far. Oh well, it happens.

As long as you make the playoffs you are considered a good team/franchise. As long as you never mind winning a championship then I guess the Nationals would be a good place to play.

We've got a long ways to go in 2013. Yes the Nats were legit World Series contenders last year and those type of campaigns don't come around very often. It's also true that aces aren't exactly a dime a dozen. I think the Nats and Strasburg will ultimately be better off in the long for having him shut down early.

He'd look good in Dodger Blue. Definitely. I don't know if they could acquire him and still keep Kershaw.

Nationals are widely considered hands down the best young franchise in all of baseball. The equivalent to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA. Started the season with the second best odds in all of baseball to win the World Series.
So how exactly is Washington a bad place to play? Do you follow Major League Baseball?

It is a marathon, not a sprint. He just needs to keep doing what he does and the Nats will be in the playoffs for sure.

The Nats are absolutely pathetic offensively... they have nobody offensively outside of Harper. Span, Werth, Moore, Desmond, Espinosa, Rendon, Solana... a decent AAA pitcher could shut down this offense. Why would any pitcher want to pitch for a team that can't score runs? Have you ever actually watched the Nats play? If you have, you wouldn't be buying into the hype of 'having the 2nd best odds to win the Series'... the product on the field is terrible. They're lucky to be 10-11 at this point. They make every opposing pitcher look like Cy Young.

You either don't follow the Nats... or you aren't located in Washington D.C... Please tell us where the offense is going to come from in this Nats lineup (besides Bryce)? Werth? LaRoche? Desmond? Espinosa? Over-the-hill guys... and guys who had career years LAST year...
