2 HR's in one game. I almost called 911 but held off.

Did I see the Padres beat the Dodger blue last night for win #2?

Did I see the Padres beat the Dodger blue last night for win #2? Yes and not only that but they scored 9 runs in one game. That's 3 more than they got in the whole hitter friendly 3 game series in Colorado.

3-2 count is a great time to hit a batter. It is usually better than the results. Greinke is stupid. He taunted Quentin and then tried to man up against him. Both shows little brains. If you are going to taunt a bull, you need to be prepared to step to the side and let him pass. Greinke could have allowed Quentin to expend his energy into air and taken the thing to the ground where his friends would help him. He owes that to the Dodgers who spent a lot of money for him to pitch. Likely suspension? In that case, it is also likely the sun is coming up tomorrow. 10 games. Longest ever for charging the mound. If it were Kemp Charging a Padre it would have been 6 games.

Quentin is pathetic. He's been hit at least twice by 19 different pitchers!..lol...He has history with everyone! Get hit, take the base, steal a base or two & help your team get back into the game...Dude is just flat out stupid.

Doesn't that make you think what may have been different this time? Greinke is a Dodger Punk who is very stupid.

That being said, I'm hoping its the spark the padres need to get going. Quentin isn't the most likeable dude to rally around but we'll see. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using proboards

Yeah, widely known that he doesn't talk to the media and his interview last night seemed a bit surly to me. Wish I liked him more since he's a hometown guy, oh well. I am an admitted Padres homer and can only hope that one of these days I have as much fun as I had in 1998 (too young for 84). Nothing better that year than the sound of Hells Bells. However, I think it's stupid for Quentin to have gone out there and risk an inevitable suspension given that everyone including himself knows that's he's already guaranteed to miss at least 30 games this year. Make that at least 38. LOL, agreed.

ok, after ten games, I think they may have established themselves as the Padres.

Well at least Ransom is gone. That was a disaster. But this home run barrage against the entire staff is going to kill this punchless team.

From a friend, "Who will win more games this year? Chargers or Padres?"

If this is true about apologizing to the Dodgers this is a soft and gutless Padres team, a far cry from the 84 or 95 teams who didn't take $hit from anyone. You support your teammates, period. Meanwhile, this current roster isn't hitting, which shouldn't be a surprise given the past 5 seasons no Padre team has collectively hit better than .250 and there have not been any real upgrades this year.

ok, after ten games, I think they may have established themselves as the Padres. Sorry. Asked the above before I saw this clarifying post. Hey, maybe after Quentin returns they'll get all motivated and win a few games. Literally a few.
