I am wondering why Adam has not been running more the last two games? Seems like he has purposely avoided scrambling or even designed runs like he did in the Nevada game and earlier in the year when he came in for Ryan.
Is Rocky worried about losing another QB?
Also if Ryan is back in Decmber in time for a bowl game, who starts? The better passer or the kid who lead you to two of the biggest victories in the history of our program?
Thoughts?

A starter does not lose his job to an injury, that is the old thought process.

Yes, I think rocky or Ludwig are purposefully not calling qb runs.
if Katz is back, he should at least play some.

They don't want Dingwell hurt that is why he isn't running.
If he can go I would start Katz in the bowl game. Dingwell will be the starter for the next couple of years so let Katz have one last go at it.

Plus, I hate the "its his last game, let him start stuff"...the QB that got you there should start...period.

I appreciate all that Katz brought to SDSU this season. I hope he's still engaged in pushing/leading this team on the sidelines and in the practice environment, but he was hobbling on crutches yesterday. I'll be shocked if he's in any type of "football shape" this month or next. Dingwell was off yesterday but i'm hopeful he will reset and finish strong. He was hitting some of the receivers but was way off target with others...Maybe the defense deserves credit but I haven't really watched the film yet. I'm ok with Dingwell running but AF had like 9 guys in the box, determined to stop the run yesterday...It would have been suicide to have Ding run in that situation.

If Dingwell continues to play well in WHYoming, he should start in the Bowl. I don't think Ryan, who has a hard cast on his lower leg will be able to be in game shape for an early bowl or would we get the rhythm with his different style. Thank you Ryan, we appreciate you coming in and being a leader at a time we really needed it! It is the Dingwell era now. He is our Kurt Warner.

It seems of late that he is focusing on staying in the pocket, im guessing Dingwell might be a little banged up and the coaches are just trying to keep him out of potential danger, I think he plays better out of the pocket and he has great accuracy slinging it on the run

I'm not very enthusiastic about Dingwell's future as THE quarterback. I doubt that he is the starter next year. To me his accuracy reminds me of Lindley, except Lindley had unique receivers. And I don't think he makes good decisions, which of course can be brushed aside by his lack of experience, but my sense is that it's deeper than that.

You don't seem very enthusiastic about anything football, to be blunt. You have been all over Rocky and the staff, not Dingwell. Are you happy with how we've been playing the last few games and the trajectory of the team? Rocky, Dingwell, Ludwig, Young, Fely, Largent, etc have really stepped up lately. Nothing positive from you yet?

A starter does not lose his job to an injury, that is the old thought process. This. He was the starter this season for a reason. Rocky thought he gave us the best chance to win games. If for some reason he is back for the bowl game then the starter gets his job back. The only way the starter would not get back his job is if he was under performing before he got hurt and his back up was doing a much better job which is not the case here.

I think Dingwell has performed better than Katz. I feel that Rocky must feel the same way.

At least you should do a more complete stalking quest. I've NEVER commented on Largent, Fely or Young and this is the first time I've mentioned Dingwell.

Dingwell is great! I like him. He won the game at Ree Know because he put touch on the ball. Katz would have over or under thrown the ball. The future at SDSU is Dingwell but Chad Jeffries and Jake Bernard are very good quarterbacks that could replace Adam next season. Coach Long's football team has performed magnificently and there is no reason not to reward Dingwell with the fact he won the game at Ree Know and at Boyzee. "I couldn't have done it without myself", is now written into Aztec lore, for ever. "My sense is that it is deeper than that."?? What a sophomoric, uSucal comment. HAM

If you don't want people to counter your negativity, you should probably psot somewhere else. I supported Fish when people were railing on his future value, I feel the same here. The team is stepping up and worthy of credit, players and coaches. Ref: Largent et al, my point exactly, you don't seem to credit what is going well in any real amount. BTW, don't flatter yourself.

I sense a growing "difficulty" in your personal life. If you're trying to ask if I live in San Diego, or went to SDSU, then the answer is yes to both.
