dont sleep on LBF. i think he had an epiphany in end of last season/off season that if he wants to play any type pro ball he needs to commit. I know hes been working extremely hard in off season. I could see him taking a good amount of minutes from X.

This summarizes BBA's thought process and why I don't believe you when you mention anything about players besides Jamaal.

People in recruiting scene, and in the know are laughing at BBA right now for his comments about Daniel Hamilton.

I say don't give up on LBF, he could blow up at his last two seasons ala D J Gay. He will never be the shooter DJ was. Nevertheless, I agree with you he could similarly improve by a quantum amount. Some folks here act like LBF is completely lacking in skill and that isn't close to accurate. He's shown himself to be a good passer and an adequate defender of average opponents and maybe it's an optical illusion but his photo on the website makes it appear he's put on some upper body weight. So I too think LaBradford could become a pleasant surprise this year.

He doesn't have any substancial basketball gifts.

He will never be the shooter DJ was. not to nitpick because i liked the post. but over his four years DJ shot 36%, 33%, 37% and 37%. so far LBF has shot 41% and 39%. DJ's 3P% is much better, but LBF's sample size for three point shooting is very small. when he was being recruited his shooting was a strong point. clutch shooting? possibly a different story.

The question you have to ask yourself is, 'Will LBF improve enough to pass either X or one our wings on the depth chart'? I say absolutely not.

I think with limited minutes, he has felt a bit pressured to do too much. As far as athleticism and gifts go, the video below was shot in high school when he was a couple inches shorter.

That's not that impressive...If he has any type of dunking ability, he would have showcased it to Aztec fans by now.

The question you have to ask yourself is, 'Will LBF improve enough to pass either X or one our wings on the depth chart'? i don't need to ask myself anything thank you though. you need to better your reading comprehension. no one has claimed lbf is going to start over x. not one person. we are trying to get you to understand that he is better than you want to believe.

Definitely a different story. And I think DJ's percentage would have been higher had he not tried to drive the lane so often and gotten frequently stuffed when he did. Since DJ grew up not far from where I live, he will always be one of my favorites. However, his over-aggresiveness in that area used to drive me nuts. Thankfully, Thames is much better at that part of his game.

Among the reasons DJ will always be one of my faves is that after Richie graduated, I never thought DJ could become a quality PG since he hadn't handled the ball well as a two. However, to his credit, he sure proved me wrong.

Don't get too excited, it has more to do with BBA's delusional personality disorder than anything else.
