I'm not a BBA apologist nor do wish to defend his outlandish statements, but the guy has a point when he says "no more LBFs". I don't think he means ill to LBF but he is talking about SDSU beginning to recuit a higher class of point guard than we've seen before.
The recruiting at the PG position hasn't really "caught up" with most of the other positions on the floor yet in terms of caliber of player, but of course, that's changing.
Johnson will not commit to SDSU, which leaves the door wide open for Isaac, especially if Johnson commits to UW.
As far as Daniel is concerned, I don't see the coaching staff pulling away from his recruitment like BBA seems to insist.

He has not developed the way we had all hoped. That being said LBF is still only a Junior and I bet by the time he graduates he will be more than a capable backup PG. We don't need 12 top 100 recruits. It messes with chemistry. Watch UNLV.

LBF was decently rated when he was recruited. Everybody was stoked when he verballed. This happens, not every recruit is going to be a homerun.

LBF may have been our #1 traget in 2010, but I don't know if he would be today.
Coming out of HS, he certainly was no Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Jordan McLaughlin, Josh Perkins or the local prospect, Devin Watson; all 2014 PGs who have offers.
My point is not to bash on LBF, but that our recruiting has made big strides since LBF came on board. Whether we land any one of these 2014 prospects is a different story all together.
We may not need 12 top 100 recruits on the floor, but that's certainly the way our coaching staff has been recruiting.

LBF was 3 star 90 rated by ESPN. Gonzaga, Pitt, BC and Washington State, among others, wanted him. Our highest rated PG prospect ever.
People that have given up on him fail to take into account the increased role of the PG in Fisher's system when they hit upper class status - ie DJ, Richie.

He is probably going to be higher rated than the recruit we sign this year (Williams). Although, looking back I cant see how LBF of 2010 would be ranked higher than Williams of 1013.

According to this guy, he has given his verbal to UW nothing in that tweet says he committed to UW True enough. I guess it says, he is going to give his verbal on Sunday to UW. Still speculation. My eyes were half blinded with all the twitter tags.

It would essentially guarantee us getting Daniel as well, but you never know though. Isaac is not being recruited as a PG. Daniel isn't even in the same category as Isaac as far as talent. We're likely going to pass on Daniel. But it's worth recruiting him if it betters our chances to get Isaac. SDSU has offer Daniel as a JR. Daniel Hamilton is a long athlete with the ability to put major points on the board. He has step is up this summer and tore it up at the Adidas Invitational. Also he is still growing. So, stop posting stuff that you do not know anything about.

I say don't give up on LBF, he could blow up at his last two seasons ala D J Gay.
I would LOVE to see Darin at State.

I remember the comparisons to DJ (with regards to BB IQ and aptitude as a PG) when we first locked up LBF.

I make no outlandish statements, I just reveal future realities that have yet to reach fruition. Daniel Hamilton all by himself, without the hype of Isaac, is not a Five star talent. Nothing I say is personally directed towards these kids. I strictly judge the scope of their basketball talent. That's it.

That's why I know Winston Shepard is overrated, and that's why I know Daniel Hamilton isn't anything to get overly excited about.
