Ned4, Is that your point? Oh and btw...I would love it if the BEast had its own network and announcers so when we clothes-line a quarterback we can pretend it was the quarterback's fault for standing upright and have the officials politely agree in front of our home crowd. Just better hope you don't sever the quarterback's spinal cord. Can you do some research for me and find out the allegiances of the commentators on the Longhorn Network for me? Maybe ND games on NBC as well. Can't wait to hear your results.

Unwad your panties. I didn't detect any bias. I thought they were more knowledgeable than the mtn announcers actually. Knew about the Aztec team and even mentioned notable alums like Sipes when he was on screen. I know that's all stuff they get in the pregame media guide but it seemed like the mtn guys either never knew or bothered to read up. The play by play guy was terrible though. Kept getting calls wrong all night long. I agree, it was professional and the production was great, I really like Achuleta, did a great job. Knew his stuff, had nice commentary on various player on both teams. This is how a conference network should be. No wonder the Pac has the biggest TV contract, they get it.

Yes, of course the pac-fudge cheatin' TV network is 100% interested in only themselves.
Yes, of course they do not want viewers from other conferences to pay for their program. They only want pac-fudge, homerites to worship every drip of their scum talk.
The Mtn excluded the Aztecs until the last eight months before it folded. Remember when Stephen Strasburg pitched the no hitter in San Diego on the campus of San Diego State? Who did the Mtn produce to call the game? Three brown yellow underwear honkers who treated the entire game like it was no big deal. Remember after the Aztecs won the MWC men's basketball championship and beat that goofy gidget guy...I fa'get is name... The Mtn did not replay the game, ever on the Mtn. Had the brown yellow underwear team won, you know, you know they'd of showed it repeatedly forever. The Mtn's actions up until the final eight months, offended Aztec fans to no end.
So, now the Pac fudge cheatin' TV network producers think that their policy to ignore non-PFC teams will result in a successful run. Um. Good luck to them. Their calling of the game and the non-calls like the two non-called intentional grounding, the closeline, the helmet to helmet etc. were obvious to not just Aztec viewers, but to the entire TV audience. The PFC TV network producers don't realize the damage done to themselves Saturday night.
Too bad for them.
Hail Aztec Montezuma

Did anyone notice the bias in the announcers (who coincidentally are hired by the PAC-12) especially as they discussed controversial calls? No mention was made of the clothes-lining of Ryan Katz's neck as if it almost never happened. I see some real problems with the BIG 10 and the PAC-12 networks announcers because they are going to be biased in favor of their employers because otherwise it would essentially be "bad-mouthing" their own employer. When was the last time Chris Berman critized ESPN or Barack Obama criticized the Democratic Party? It is a horrible abhomination of homerism,I watched SJSU Stanfrod, Nevada Cal same thing. It is about the same quality as the old Mountian West network. Ricky Newweasel a better commentator than Coach. he said some nice things about Coach Long. Not only is it bad but its not in HD. Thye got so much wrong about state it was funny. The said the linebackers were all new having not started., Thye never looked at minttes played or the fact Rocky rotates his defense.

It is unethical to claim unbiased reporting or pretend anything of the sort when you are getting paid by someone to comment. For example, when the late night infomercials come on, you know none of these clowns is unbiased. Why is that? Because you know they are getting paid by whoever the product manufacturer is. The PAC-12 and Big 10 need to simply come out and say, "our announcers are paid employees". PERIOD! So you want the PAC-12 to tell you that the announcers for a game on THE PAC-12 NETWORK are employees of the PAC-12?!?!? lol. you dumb. This. I finally found the person for which the "warning: coffee is hot" is intended

Agreed, Calabro seemed like he couldn't even see the field or comprehend what was going on, his performance was outright embarrassing. Archuleta I thought did a good job as a color commentator. Maybe Calabro was watching the game through the same feed I was--a small, non HD (the MTN-esque) picture. Calabro is a BB play by play guy. He should stick to round ball!

I've never understood why oh why people care so much about announcing. Who cares??? It has absolutely nothing to do with the game. And don't give me public perception because at the end of the day the only thing people remember is wins and losses.

I think that the point is.....who the f cares? This. Is the "Aztec Nation" ever going to stop blaming the officials for our losses? It's gone beyond boring to tedious.

Hail Aztec Montezuma They replayed the Kawhi over Fredette/SDSU over BYU MWC tourney game at least one time last spring. I know, because my daughter and I sat and watch it from start to finish, to my wife's (Arizona grad) chagrin.

Two thoughts:
1) I now hate Summer Sanders 2) I justed turned down the volume and listened to Uncle Teddy's play-by-play over the P-12 video...

of course it was biased towards them. What I had a problem with was how bad both of the announcers were. The old guy needs glasses or a few marbles back and archaletta often lacked the ability to string a fragment together.
