...have played for SDSU's basketball team? I didn't pay much attention to Aztec basketball prior to my freshman year at SDSU in 2001, so right off I only know of current member Mehdi Cheriet (France) and Mohamed Camara (Guinea) from 2004-06.

Samuel Eze, never actually played. He spent two seasons at Western Illinois, only played for one.

I'm pretty sure Ryan Amoroso was from a different galaxy entirely.

And the guy (can't remember his name) we signed from a JC and didn't have any eligibility left. That was a weird one.

If you were on this board or prior board you'd know these 2 never made it. A thread regarding them pops up every now and then.

I'm pretty sure Ryan Amoroso was from a different galaxy entirely. You're thinking of Manker. They named a planet after him.

I've always been suprised there haven't been more. With all the Brazilian's here - it would be nice to open up a Brazilian pipeline. Of course, those guys tend to turn pro at 14...
