A bit longer than what I like to link to (not too long), but well worth reading. Here is a state, Maine, that has been having trouble financially for decades. Next door, Vermont has taken a different road and is in much better shape.
So, finally, the people got tired of the same old, same old and did something. It's important to note what political conditions lead both to Maine's troubles and to the revolt that erupted last November.
