For anyone that did not get a chance to run in the 5K a few weeks back, the Alumni Association is offering a limited number of Strasburg autographs with the money going to the baseball program. I just rcvd an email that they have 30 signed MLB baseballs available and 20 signed photos. I just called an ordered a photo and wanted to let those out of town know about it in case they want to support the program and get the autograph. For those interested you can call Robyn at (619) 594-3353
Baseballs are 150.00 in case Photos are 75.00 framed and 20.00 not framed

Strasburg's Aztec career was legendary. Banking on all this gear being sold out by end of this weekend. The 5K was a great day. Lotsa drink, food and fellow Aztec and Padre fans galore. Those who participated got an envelope that contained a smaller autogrpahed picture of SS, two tickets to a PADs game, (or a one for two coupon), and a coupon for two tickets to an Aztec baseball game. And then at the end, you could get a print of the 2011 Aztec baseball team signed by every member. (I have the SS picture, plus my number signed by SS and TG framed in "my room", love looking at it). The ladies I was with were all over Steve raving about how he can come back and give to his Alma Mater. It really was all very cool. I'm hoping it goes on again next year and there's more from the board in attendance. And yes, Steve Strasburg was the most cordial of hosts..
