What does this even mean?
We got the positive end of the worst call in the game when they didn't call a goaltend on an obvious goaltend.

Hey, quit bagging on Aztec Joe.
He makes perfect sense in an anti-Phil Jackson, anti-Zen sort of way.
A bird flu on you all!

And it was a goal tend. What do you think the ball would have done if it hadn't been touched from the time he touched it on? The way I saw it, the ball would have then hit the backboard above where he touched it.

Sorry, Bill, I almost always agree with you, as you usually have the facts, and the numbers to back them up, on your side.
However, I replayed that block three or four times on my DVR. The ball was swatted a full foot below its apogee. It was a very obvious goal tend.

Which I think would have been on the backboard after the point at which he touched it.

Help me out please. English is my second language and my basketball knowledge is minimal, and I have difficulty understanding "The ball was swatted a full foot below its apogee. It was a very obvious goal tend." I understand apogee to be a further point in distance, whilst a pogee is a closer point in distance, both in relation to some object. So if the apogee had not yet been reached by the basketball, how could a player blocking the ball from reaching its apogee be goal tending? Thanking you in advance for the instruction.

Why can't some people just put this damned game behind them and move on? Pure and simple, we got our ass summarily kicked by a team that was better on that one particular night. Bitching about all the WTFs makes us sound like our mascot should be Tiny Tears. Grow up, babies.

Uh oh.
Sorry.
I retract my Gidget remarks.
And, insert, "Loser!"
Take notes, it will make this year go smoothly.
