Colorado will announce move to PAC 10 at 12 ET, just a few minutes away. Who's next?

They say Utah to the Big 12 if Nebraska stays in it. What? No way. Not really an issue since Nebraska is going to the Big 10.

Admit SDSU right away They need to think long term. SDSU in the Big 12 has more potential than the other options they are considering. Being in the Big 12 would increase SDSU's recruiting like crazy.

OK, here is what is really says. The USA Today article says what John put in his post but it links to another site that says something that is NOT surprising and something that we have heard all along.
"If Nebraska remains in the Big 12 and the rest of that league stays intact, the Pac-10 would invite Utah as its 12th team and split into two six-team divisions."
Then I could see the Big 12 inviting TCU or Houston or Tulsa to get back to 12.

It looks like we will soon know if we are on the path to being a football power or if our program is mortally wounded. I for one am glad this torturous ride us Aztec football fans have been on the past 2 decades is almost over. One way or the other.

Done deal. Pac 11? More to come. ESPN doesn't seem to say it's happening "in the next few minutes." ESPN announced it would be made official at 12 ET. They did that at 11:45 ET. Sounds like a few minutes to me.......

They say Utah to the Big 12 if Nebraska stays in it. I don't think Colorado would have jumped unless they were pretty sure Nebraska and the Texas and Okie contingents were going as well. =Bob
