College Football New.com offers capsule reviews of all eleven FBS (I-A) conferences for this Fall. This serves as the kickoff of the college football preview publications. The print magazines should be out next month. cfn.scout.com/2/966012.htmlAzWm

The MWC just can't get any respect. The MWC would get plenty of respect if we started slapping around BCS opponents. Look at these games for '10: AFA at Oklahoma Colorado at CSUNew Mexico at Oregon and home to Texas Tech Wisconsin at UNLVWyoming at Texas SDSU at Missouri That makes seven key games against BCS schools, and maybe one of those (Col at CSU) will be a win for the MWC. (I left out the top three of the MWC because so many people are saying that it's the bottom of the MWC that must do better to earn the conference more respect.) When the MWC can split a half dozen of those BCS games, then we will have arrived. We aren't there yet, needless to say. AzWm

The MWC just can't get any respect. I think the fact that the MWC is the best non BCS confrence does show respect. The problem is that there is a caste system. There is the BCS and the non BCS. As long as the BCS exists and the MWC is not part of it, we will never be ranked as high. The best solution is to get acceptance into the BCS or work to get a fair, inclusive playoff system like basketball has.

Look at these games for '10: AFA at Oklahoma Although it's likely the Sooners will win, I think Air Force will give them fits with the triple option. Oklahoma wins by no more than 17Colorado at CSU Tight game, but I think CSU will pull out the winNew Mexico at Oregon and home to Texas Tech Lobos will get blown out in both gamesWisconsin at UNLV Rebels have beat them recently, but I'm with the understanding Wisconsin will be good next year. Wisconsin likely will winWyoming at Texas It should be a blowout by Texas, but it'll be interesting to see if Wyoming could put any pressure on a new QB in his 2nd gameSDSU at Missouri Win or lose, SDSU will make it a close game. The winner by no more than 10 pointsThat makes seven key games against BCS schools, and maybe one of those (Col at CSU) will be a win for the MWC.
