TCU needs a win this Saturday to redeem the MWC after this weekend. A "W" this Saturday and a "W" over BYU on 10/24 should mean 12-0 for the toads and a BCS invitation along with Boise. 9/21 Top 25 www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/polls

TCU's win today over Clemson should give the MWC a shot at a BCS bowl bid if the Frogs go the distance undefeated. Boise looks like a lock for a BCS bowl now.

TCU's biggest remaining tests are against AFA and BYU, both games to be played out of the state of Texas. If TCU can go undefeated they will deserve a BCS invitation. And I think they will get it, largely based on strength of schedule over Boise St.
(BTW, the fact that the crooked BCS will invite only one highly rated and undefeated team, assuming that both TCU and BSU are such, is one of the strongest arguments against the basic fairness of the BCS. I will bet that at least one or two BCS teams will play in their big money bowls even if they have a pair of losses. Or perhaps even more! What a racket!)
