The Padres play a double header tomorrow because today's game is rained out. This raises pitching issues since they don't have a day off this week.
Scheduled 6/16 Latos 6/17 Garland
If those two pitchers pitch tomorrow, then Monday against the Blue Jays the Padres either have to start a different pitcher or a pitcher on 3 days rest. If they start a pitcher on 3 days rest it will be Garland and not Latos. Older pitchers do better on short rest. If Garland starts the first game tomorrow he will have 3 days and 9 hours rest. Stauffer is the other option. If he gets 4 or 5 innings tonight or tomorrow, he could start on Monday.

Would Stauffer be ready to start by Monday?

Would Stauffer be ready to start by Monday? He has pitched in Portland Jun 4 - 2 innings Jun 8 - 2 innings If he pitches 4 innings tomorrow, he would be right on track for a start on Monday.
I think it is more likely that Garland starts the first game of the DH and starts again on Monday. The only other option would be Sean Gallagher who pitched 3.1 shutout innings on Saturday. He has been a starter and could go on Monday. If that is the choice he should pitch about 3 innings tomorrow, if the chance presets itself.

The Padres play a double header tomorrow because today's game is rained out. Then why aren't they showing Andy Griffith? That was rained out too.
The Mets have schduled a day/night double header. So the second game stats at 4:10 PM PST. That is 7:10 EST. The Padres will be talking a red eye to San Diego and will be "off kilter" playing Seattle the next day on PST. They should send Friday nights starter, Correia, to San Diego now.
