The Gonzaga game keeps on giving to ESPN. That is the game footage they use for EVERY piece they do on the Aztecs. Only footage that they own, so they don't have to pay for it.

Wow! I love how Gottlieb gives props to our basketball program, but that guy should just stay away from talking about academics. I believe his statements to be false, and I suspect that he is actually confusing DJ with Brandon. BTW, Brandon graduated a semester early didn't he? Looks like the gamble payed off big for the young man and for SDSU. According to Doug Gottlieb, DJ Gay was an academic case and would have "struggled to qualify at say a UCLA, or even a USC." He claims San Diego State was easier to get into. Setting aside the slap at SDSU's academic entrance requirements, I don't recall there EVER being any question as to DJ's academic standing. I don't recall ANY question regarding whether or not he would qualify. Brandon Heath, sure, he was academic risk that came through with flying colors. It would be nice if they would get their facts straight. Gottlieb is still fighting himself and has yet to give this Aztecs team full credit for the pre-conference schedule we have played, the conference we play in, and for the road games we have all won.

I don't know about that. This video on the ESPN bracketology page has Gottlieb saying saying our schedule isn't stronger than it is because teams won't play us. I'm not sure why people would want to bash this guy - he gives us pretty good pub. He says we have more and better road wins than other teams as well. espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology
