Wow! They spent a lot of time on us, including a long segment from Joe Lunardi, who was very supportive of the SDSU case for a number 1 or 2 seed.

That clip came out a week ago. Is there a new segment on Fish?

That clip came out a week ago. Is there a new segment on Fish? No - but there was added discussion from Gottlieb about how Fish has done it and Lunardi about how legitimate the Aztecs are. A long segment with a lot of Aztec love.

RB...they played the same Fisher clip, but followed up with interviews and commentary that was by and large supportive of our current ranking and proposed high NCAA seeding, should we finish the season with 0-3 losses.

Gottlieb took some swipes at the Aztecs' schedule.....the fact that they haven't played "top tier opponents like the major conference teams have." But he did qualify that with the mention of the fact that they played more road games than anyone, and highlighted the game at Gonzaga. At least in another piece I saw he further qualified his point by saying that the Aztecs can't get anyone to play them, which is why the schedule is "so weak."

Besides the DJ academic error, and saying Kahwi is 6'5", the segment was pretty awesome. They presented the case against all the "big schools", and for schools like SDSU. and Lunardi's employer, St Josephs in 2004, being able to play their way into position for a high seed. Getting 10 full minutes on ESPN dedicated soley to San Diego State basketball, and bringing in the Bracketologist live, it doesn't get much better than that. Savor the moment. This is, "San Diego State, The Season".
