The source everyone is using here is the denver post which said as soon as monday, I'm too lazy to get the link, it's over on the MWC board. Monday there are no NBA finals, it is the traditional off-day in MLB, nothing major in pro football, French open will be over, World cup won't have started yet Monday is a huge PR day for the MWC to capitalize on - they will be the only news in town. If they announce it, the should announce it relatively early, like Noon Eastern, and let it dominate sports news the rest of the day. Boise will join in a year so they get one more year (one in which they will likely start-off ranked in the top 5) to beat the crap out of the WAC. Then, if SDSU and New MExico get better as well as UNLV and CSU, the MWC might make it through the front door into the BCS for the final two years '12 and '13 of the BCS contract, and there are so many moving parts that would have to all snap into place for the BCS to not already be extended by then. |

Great thread. I'll move it to the MWC forum since it's a MWC related thread.
And, as I've said before, I love the idea of Boise State joining the MWC. That really would make the MWC one of the top 4 or 5 conferences in the country, and hard to leave out as an AQ.

That's a membership only link, Steve. In any event, I pretty much know what they think from all the stuff on the MWC board. From that, I'll say most would rather keep it but with a single exception, their opinion is if the rest of us think they should shitecan it, they would be perfectly willing to keep the end zones blue and make everything else green.
