What a supid f***ing poll question. The correct answer: Duh. But what they're really saying is this: Should a non-BCS school be allowed to be a member of our blue-blooded club, and should we confer a hallowed No. 1 ranking on such riff-raff? Awesome post, so true.

Shocking that the majority of the north east says no. Nope. Actually, they're all saying "yes" at this point.

Per this week's ESPN Power Rankings, Aztecs are still at #6, BYU still at #10 : "The Aztecs handled the Pit. Can they handle the Cougars? This is show-me time for the Aztecs. The doubters will either become believers or "I told you so" loudmouths when San Diego State plays at BYU on Wednesday night." ESPN points to next week's game vs. BYU as "The Game" (with Caps included) espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/powerrankings"I told you so?" Why because we lose to a Top 10 team in a road game packed with 22k crazy fans? Wow, I guess you can't lose one game in order to be legit? There are always idiots who will say that... Lunardi, however, said that if SDSU ends up with only 2 or 3 losses he would be very disappointing if we ended up with worse than a #2 seed.

I also didn't like that...losing at BYU should not diminish what we have accomplished thus far. EVERY TEAM in the top 10 would have a hard time beating BYU at home.

58,000 (and counting) voters across the land are not wrong. Clean sweep in every state now, and by a wide margin. But I guess it is sort of a no-brainer. I just never underestimate the power of the east coast bias.

I feel that we would be deserving of the #1 West seed even with we finish with 1, maybe even 2 losses, not just being 34-0 at the time of selection. That still puts us in a select group of winners.
We all know that there are only 3 undefeated teams left (ranked 1, 2 & 6); but with Texas A&M's loss yesterday, there are only 4 teams left with only 1 loss (ranked 3, 4, 5 & 9).

Hey, if the Aztecs get a 2 seed, I won't complain. Just as good as a 1 seed in my book, particularly if they keep them in the West region.

The biggest key is the West coast bracket.
