Atlanta is not a southern city,geographically yes but culturally no. Where do all those rude angelinos come form? You guessed it alot from New York

I lived in both Los Angeles and New York. No way is LA more rude than NY.

I lived in both Los Angeles and New York. No way is LA more rude than NY. Me too. I lived in Long Island and commuted ot Manhatten, rudeness was an art form. Lived in Silverlake for years rarely met a rude person.

I lived in both Los Angeles and New York. No way is LA more rude than NY. True dat. In lalaland, the commute is so long you can't remember how rude you where just about thirty miles ago, but in New Yawk you're so close together, you can smack-talk ten strangers in one breath. HAM

In general I would say that most places back East are a little more rough around the edges than we are here in the West. I base my opinion mostly on the service your get in Restaurants.
