Do you really want to discuss BYU and Utah on the Aztec board?
I can agree with general MWC info/news as it directly affects the Aztecs, but do you really want to discuss UNLV or TCU team stuff on the Aztec forum??

OK, it's pretty clear that the vast majority of AztecTalkers want to discuss General MWC news on the Aztec board.
So shall it be written, so shall it be done.
General MWC topics are now fair game on the Aztec board as MWC issues DO affect the Aztecs.
For School or Team specific issues those will still be discussed on the MWC board (just like they were Off Topic on the last couple of boards).
Does this work for everyone??

I could give a rip about what the Zoomie coach had for breakfast or if the Zoob QB was still a virgin (well, actually, I would like to know that), but I definitely like hearing about all sorts of things in the league that tangentially affect SDSU. Stuff like Gordon choosing to go to UNM, hothead Henderson of Utah clocking a Zoob during a hoops game, or XYZ coach of ABC school in the MGC getting fired. How can you tell if something is relevant or not? Well, it's sort of like Justice Stevens' definition of pornography: "I know it when I see it." |

Further changes have been made as per the kind requests and suggestions of the board members. Some good points were made, and while it seemed like a good idea at the time to have the extra boards to make it easier to find specific topics, it would seem that most people prefer fewer boards.
The Aztec Mesa members have spoken, and the requested changes have been implemented. (Some of them, anyway...)
I hope this works better for most of you.

I thought the parameters for talk was a little too narrow and too much being moved off topic. It is a slow period and this board needs all the talk it can get.
Wait till we build a broader base and than move more topics to the other categories.

So, with that in mind when things get a little too far afield I will move said topic to the MWC/College board. MWC topics that directly affect the Aztecs are fair game on this board, and that's probably as it should be. |
