I would be interested to know how much money this season has added, or will add to the bottom line of the athletic department. One would think it has to be far exceeding whatever they had projected.

No doubt about it. Add to just ticket sales- parking, concessions, memorabilia. The coffers are filling up.

Its too bad they didn't charge more for tickets this year. They could of charged double and still sold all MWC games out. $10 GA is a big time steal.

I think football total attendance for six home games was around 204,000 approx. (34,000X6), not counting bowl game.
So basketball comes close. Just think if we didn't have to play all those road games. Alot of times, teams reap attendance rewards of great season the following season. So maybe next year, too.

I really don't see them raising prices for next season. I sure hope not as my $99 season tickets are the best deal in town.

I can't imagine ticket prices remaining this low next year. GA at $12-$15 would still be a good value. BTW, parking revenue goes to the State of California coffers, I believe.

The prices right now are simply ridiculously cheap (face value for tickets, that is.......the season ticket "donation" at least doubles the cost, but what the hell, it's for a good cause. ).

The Key is more home games like the big boys, but we will now be able to pay more. Remember we did not have the money to compete for home games. We would want to play ranked teams, so other might.
The big deal is this helps recruiting as well. We now have ranking and sell outs like the bigs.
It is footballs turn next. Attendance there will help recruiting. We used to have higher football attendence then a lot of the big schools.
It would be nice to out draw Cal. as a Calif. school. How will Standford draw with a new coach?
The two Arizona schools killed us in recruiting when they got in the Pac 10.
