Like the guys on MLB were saying, we could be seeing something historical here. Imagine if this is just an "average" game for Stras over his career and due to the pitch count management techniques of today he only gets 500 career starts. He will simply blow away the Ryans, Johnsons, and Clemens of the world. Not only in strikeouts but strikeout to walk ratio and ERA.
Let's hope that he is treated with delicate gloves and enjoys a long and healthy career. It will be so nice to see an Aztec at the top of the all-time pitching charts in MLB. Go Stras!

I kept hearing about the AAAA Pirates so I took a look. The Padres have scored 54 more runs than the Pirates. If the Padres had scored 54 more runs they would be leading the league. So the Padres are closer to being the highest scoring team than scoring like the Pirates. Was anyone else surprised that Pudge called for more changeups than Sliders?

He could have 7 starts under his belt by the All-Star Game. How good does he have to be to be invited?

I would say if he is 5-1 or something like that, averaging over 10+ strikeouts and an ERA under 2, they will find a spot for him in the lineup. That would be awesome.
