At least we will be on equal footing now with Boise being in the same league. Not a tough choice, where do I want to live San Diego or Idaho.

Tough choice uh. Nice weather or snow. Understood but it rarely has helped much!

because they play in BCS bowls right now. From now on... whether or not they play in a BCS bowl is determined by whether or not they can beat the Aztecs. In fact, if things come together for SDSU, the game vs Boise St next season might just be for the conference championship. (though TCU will still be tough as well)

Kids don't care about weather. They care about winning and where they fit into that program.

Boise has Georgia and Toledo OOC and Tulsa at home. If Boise can beat the Bulldogs and SDSU gets a "W" in Ann Arbor, the SDSU v Boise game could be really, really special.

It's been proven over and over again. People in San Diego love to congratulate themselves for living here.
With recruits they want TV time, BCS, high profile. Very few would take San Diego over Lincoln, Nebraska. Or now, choose San Diego over Ann Arbor. Not likely.

The whole weather thing for the most part is a non issue when it comes to where recruits want to play college football unless you are talking about Minnesota or some place like that.
I played JC ball at Santa Barbara City College and we never really went to the beach much because we were always at practice, in the weight room or watching film. And when we did have time off we would just hang out and play Madden, hang out with girls or whatever. So everyone needs to stop thinking that warm weather and the beach gives us such a huge recruiting advantage cause it doesn't. It helps but its not a huge factor.
Now girls.... that's a different story. But with that said believe me there are cute football groupies at BSU too I'm sure.

Very few would take San Diego over Lincoln, Nebraska. Or now, choose San Diego over Ann Arbor. Not likely. Indeed. And I've heard tell that the parents of some studs don't want their kids to attend SDSU. Too much of a party reputation. I fully believe that since my mom had that concern about me transferring from CSUN back in the day. (I actually partied harder there, but that's another story.)

My cousin who played in the A's system for half a dozen years told me you wouldn't believe how much hot stuff there is in Birmingham. And they don't just like Bama football players.

Seems like he's been waiting for a better offer (or dream school) all along. Said he understands that there are limited spots. Was down to Cal & SDSU. Then Cal gets a few commits within the last week (his space probably has been filled). Now he's down to Boise & SDSU. This kid could be left on the outside looking in come LOI day
