After their interview with Craig Thompson, they were talking about how they want to be in "The Show" in the student section. Will you guys let them in? They always (especially Josh since he is an Aztec) plug you guys on their program. Just a heads up for you all in case this comes across your way.
Side question and this may be a new thread on it's own: Who in SD do you think promotes SDSU the most on the radio?
A. The coach John Kentera B. Darren Smith C. Chris Ello/Ben Higgins D. The Drive (Josh/Sherrod) E. Everyone's favorite Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton F. Everyone's other favorite Scott and BR

C and D are doing a great job right now.
A, E, and F aren't doing bad.
I don't know about B. For some reason I'm never listening at that time.

Yeah they have a spot in front as long as they wear the red and black, show up early, and chant along.

They've all been pimpin' the Aztecs hard. I think they're all extremely excited.
It used to be that Coach, Josh and Ello were the primary Aztec pimps. They were the most knowledgeable and passionate, even though Ello was constantly p*ssed about Aztec athletics (and perhaps rightfully so) when he did get around to talking about them.
Hacksaw has always talked Aztecs, but also has been primarily a Chargers guy.
S&BR pretended to like the Aztecs whenever the subject came up, but you could tell the passion wasn't there. These days, though, SK has been completely geeked about Aztec fball and bball. Dude was a huge Hoke fan. Seems like he had Hoke on the air more than anyone in town.
Darren's sidekick Marty Caswell is a total Aztec nut. She's an alum and a true fan. She might be the most passionate of them all.
It's good to win.

Oh yeah I should've put Marty in with Darren since she is on the air at times. She really is an Aztec nut! Surprised she is not on this board

Ya know, I'm noticing something: There's a lot more uniformity in The Show right now than there used to be. Used to be that just about everyone in the first three rows were in some sort of crazy costume or random (yet relevant) attire. But I've noticed that lately most everyone's wearing the same thing--red t-shirts with some sort of SDSU logo on it. What ever happened to the brilliant randomness that used to be The Show? That was part of what made you guys so great!

I've seen a few more randomness lately...with the addition of The Gingerbread Man and (whatever that thing was next to him). An Elf was there during Christmas....my kids loved getting their pics with him, which worked perfectly since they were dressed as Mr and Mrs Santa. I loved the randomness, it always added to the game. With the..."Hmmm, I wonder who we will see today at the game?" My kids still ask if they can dress up when we go to the game.

Scott has season tickets to the BB games, even went to one of the road games this year. Also trying to get BR to go with him to the MWC T or March Madness. He is trying to get Jim Nance on the band wagon- People should call his show and get him to get one of the top CBS announcers for the home game on CBS vs BYU. Would be great to have all of them in in a free throw shooting contest at half time. They all love the AZTECS - when they win- Now is the time to call their shows so they talk AZTECS-

That was part of what made you guys so great! I think it's because more and more students know the history of The Show. In the past you would get a couple of student pissed off because they couldn't sit in front during the lone game they attended that year. Kinda like 8 students ruins it for other 37,000 students.
