Barack Obama gave an excellent address this afternoon at the memorial service in honor of the victims of the Tuscon shooting of last Saturday. His words were eloquent and his emotion just right. And he gave the great news that Gabrielle Giffords opened her eyes for the first time today.
I can't think of any aspect of the President's appearance that can be faulted.

I agree for the most part. He might have cut off the clapping and cheering that broke out and really is not appropriate for a Memorial Service. With just a couple exceptions, he kept it solemn and in good taste. All in all, much better from him than I expected. I was pleased to be surprised.

Wiliam and aztecwin like Obama's speech? Is this a sign of the end of the world?

Wiliam and aztecwin like Obama's speech? Is this a sign of the end of the world? No. It is a sign that Win and Will call 'em as they see 'em. Fair and balanced is the only way to go. AzWm
