No kidding. Chris Mathews is practically foaming at the mouth. (More than usual that is). It really is pure comedy if you stop and watch these people.

I watched a few minutes of Ed Schultz today as he was attacking Palin for what she said in response to the nutty stuff going around. I then watched her eight minute speech and was amazed at just how little correlation there was between what Schultz said she said and what she did actually did say or the context in which she said it.
If I were to make a judgment on Ed Schultz just based on today's program, I would conclude that he is just a bald faced lair. I have not seen him more than a few seconds before today so I hope that he is a little more honest most of the time.

Mr. Limbaugh is running scared. He is fully aware that his programing has used hatred to make him a celeberity. As a highly paid actor he must cater to his audience, and he has chose to cater to upset Americans who seldom vote but do complain a lot. He seldom offers solutions to real problems- and just entertains those that want him to act as a surrorgate for their anger. Of course most know he struggles with his personal life with all sorts of problems, and it shows. He is using the old but effective system of blaming the victim --in that Democrats cause people to act in a violent behavior. I am sorry--I am not buying into that baloney.

Mr. Limbaugh is running scared. He is fully aware that his programing has used hatred to make him a celeberity. As a highly paid actor he must cater to his audience, and he has chose to cater to upset Americans who seldom vote but do complain a lot. He seldom offers solutions to real problems- and just entertains those that want him to act as a surrorgate for their anger. Of course most know he struggles with his personal life with all sorts of problems, and it shows. I fail to see what this has to do with the topic or on what you base your opinion. Rush is just an entertainer for the most part but what he does cuts right to the quick of lefties. There must be some painful substance. I rarely listen to him, but he must have some sort of magic formula to stir up the left wing on just about a daily basis. |

Whether on the left or the right, why do you watch them?
I cannot imagine how anyone could take Beck/Limbaugh/etc (sorry, I can't remember their names) seriously. Ditto the far right media -- American Spectator, et al that so many of you cite. And I cannot imagine why anybody watches the former ESPN guy, etc. and takes them seriously. This board wouldn't exist if not for the extremists on both sides and for the commentaries about how inaccurate they are, etc.
Just seems strange to me. There are so many more credible people on both sides of the issue and they rarely seem to get much mention.
