What happened to The Republican Campaign promise of cutting $100 billion in spending this fiscal year? Sometime between the election and this week the knife lost its edge! Paul Ryan, newly anointed House Budget Committee Chairman announced the cuts have been downsized! What a surprise. Not an ounce of difference between the two parties when it comes to spending taxpayer money.
