OK. So a lot of interest is gone because the Chargers didn't make it but it's still one of the sport highlights of the year. WEEK 1...Wild Card Round I'll pick...
Saints over Seahawks---No brainer. Seattle's only hope would be if N.O. can't handle the cold and their depleted running attack can't get going. I'll be rooting for Seattle as I'm still bitter over last year's Super Bowl but it won't happen. (Aztec-Ute BB game will be on opposite this so I'll flip to football during commercials and halftime)
Colts over Jets---Homer pick but I see Manning doing better than Sanchez. The Colts running game has picked up as of late and they're also stopping the run much better. Jets will move the ball through the air but I'm figuring...hoping...it won't be too much for Indy to handle.
Ravens over Chiefs---Still can't believe the Chiefs made it to the playoffs. They're improved but it helped that the rest of the division couldn't get their act together. Ravens have playoff experience. KC's last playoff game was in 2006...lost to the Colts. KC's last home playoff game was in 2003...lost to the Colts. ;D Ravens offense and defense will be too much for KC to handle.
Eagles over Packers---This one is the toughest to call. I just figure the Eagles are a little more consistant than Green Bay, a team that lost to Detroit on one of the Packers off weeks.

Saints--Like you said no brainer Jets--Could go either way Ravens--No way they lose to the Chiefs who have looked bad lately. Eagles--This could also go either way but I see the Eagles winning.

Well Wk 1 was a tough one. With the Seahawks finding a way to win, Vick throwing it away, and that Jets game could have gone either way...
WK 2 Chi over Sea...Sea wont get lucky again, Chi D is too good GB over ATL... ATL better on paper, but... BLT over PIT... probably bad pick, but I hate PIT NE over NYJ... But I'll be rooting for the JETS

Hey Poway..... The Colts may have to worry about Reggie Wayne, who sounds very much like he doesn't want anything to do with Manning for a while. It would have been pretty frosty between them if the Colts advanced this week. One attempted pass to Wayne, the team's best receiver? The guy who led the AFC in targets? The guy who had 111 catches this season? Ridiculous. I know Darrelle Revis is superb when healthy, but Manning just has to look for Wayne more than once in four quarters. "I shouldn't have even suited up,'' Wayne told Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star. "It's bull, man. I was irrelevant.'' Manning will say he's often done that when playing great corners over the years, like against Ty Law and Champ Bailey, but I don't think that's going to soothe Wayne.
• Jim Caldwell needs to go to clock management school. In a 28-28 game at Jacksonville in Week 4, the Jags had one timeout left and started a drive at their 23-yard line inside the final minute. They ran Maurice Jones-Drew on first down and didn't call time. They seemed content to play for overtime. But the Colts called time with 36 seconds left. Jacksonville then went aggressively downfield and got in position for a 59-yard Josh Scobee field goal to win it at the gun.
Now it's Saturday night, 29 seconds left, and the Jets have one timeout left, and they're at the Colt 32 on second-and-eight. Caldwell called time. It appeared on replays like Peyton Manning was waving his arms as if to say: "Are you kidding me?'' Caldwell gave an explanation afterward that raised more questions than it answered. Quite frankly, it was bizarre.
"I was going to make sure they couldn't take the clock down,'' he said. "Make them snap the ball. They were in field goal range. So we wanted to make them snap the ball as many times as they could." What possible merit does making sure they couldn't take the clock down --which, of course, they could anyway, seeing that it was second down and this was Indy's last timeout and the game had 29 seconds left? Very strange.Read more: sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/peter_king/01/09/wild-card/index.html#ixzz1AePGZAqW

Caldwell is the worse coach on the planet. I absolutely can't stand him. He makes Norv look like a genius. His game management is pathetic. I....I....don't get me started. He should have been fired after the Jacksonville fiasco. As long as he is the coach the Colts will never see the Super Bowl again. Peyton hasn't said anything yet but I just know it's driving him nuts. It's a crying shame what Caldwell has done to this team.
