As Carl Weathers would say. I think Brady going is about 50% . If he does I wonder what the Hell the administration will do. It will be a Royal disaster if we have to bring in Coach who will put in anew offense,or loose Rocky after all the guys we recruited for his defense. The thought crossed my mind that Franchione might get the job. If I remember correctly if you had interviews for a job and it was less than two years at Cal state you could draw from that list, without going through the civil service BS. However I could be wrong about that. Remember Fran was number two. Unfortunately I do not think he and Rocky are Pals, and he runs a quasi option.
The best thing would be if Rocky took the job at least for a couple of years. I wonder about the Texas state nonesense,. If he is interested in being a head coach again why not see what happens here? It is probably BS anyway. I can not believe Michigan is going to get a coach who does not run an offense something like they have now and throw away one of the top QBs in the country.
I think College football is going nuts, when Ralph Friegen gets canned after a 75 and 50 record at Maryland, well talk about goofy expectations. I think Brady would win most likely 40-45 games in five years at Michigan and get canned, because of their expectations.
Just a question how mobile are our young QBs? Could any have the potential to do what Dalton did in regard to running the ball? Not full out option but a threat anyway.

I just hope we hire a D-1 HEAD COACH. Not a coordinator who's never been a head coach, or a JC Head Coach.

I heard an interview with Herman Edwards and they asked him if he'd be interested in a job like SDSU. He didn't say no and spoke about how he had a job when this one became available and how much he's behind Hoke now. It made me wonder. I think he'd be an unbelievable college coach, he's a motivator and I think could recruit. If Hoke leaves, I don't think Borges goes with him, Stan Parrish would be Hoke's OC at Michigan. I hope whomever would get hired would retain Borges.

Let's let it play out before we start postulating on who would take over.

He has little or no connections iwth college coaches ot put a staff together. The dude has ben lobbying for the job since he got canned. Why would he be a good recruiter.?

I just hope we hire a D-1 HEAD COACH. Not a coordinator who's never been a head coach, or a JC Head Coach. I wouldn't worry about that. As some other posters are aware, SDSU wasn't going to hire such a guy two years ago and Hoke's success pretty much guarantees that will be the plan again - though that won't be announced publicly.

Looks like Franchione is going to be hired at Texas State thank God. Yeah I have an agenda,I want a College head coach not a Pro head Coach,or a JC head Coach or a CFL head coach. :Looks like Randy Edsel going to Maryland, which means Mike Leach is not. There are some pretty good coaches out there, without going to guys like Edwards or other pro coaches,.
