I think each of these road-trips, in their own unique way, has been instrumental in getting this team ready for MWC play coming up. They've each instilled character, confidence, or both. I can make a winning agrument for any one of them.
What say you?

Zags. Not a close second.
Got us on the map, over the hump, through the woods, etc., etc.
Once we got over the hump and on the map, we stayed there. All the other wins were about staying on the map, not about getting on the map in the first place.
The win over the Zags was the most important in the history of Aztec basketball, to date.
'Nuff said.

Zags. Even when they are down a little it is a major deal to win in Spokane. This one was big!

Zags. Even when they are down a little it is a major deal to win in Spokane. This one was big! And, remember, they weren't down at the time. They were ranked No. 11 in the country and were something like 60-1 in their new arena. It was/is a big deal.

I know they have lost a few games but other than SDSU have they lost at home this year ? They lost to No. 21 Illinois at home on Dec. 4, 73-61. The Zags are 83-6 on their home court since it opened in 2004. They have an absolutely killer OOC sked. They have impressive wins over Baylor, Xavier and Marquette, but have racked up losses to SDSU, Illionois, Notre Dame, Kansas State and Wazzu -- none of which are pushovers. They have a huge game tonight at home against 11-1 Okie St., followed up by a big roadie on Jan. 2 at Wake Forest. They're currently 8-5 on the year, and appear to be rounding into form after some early injuries. espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/team/_/id/2250/gonzaga-bulldogs

The Illinois game was in Seattle, not in Spokane.

The Illinois game was in Seattle, not in Spokane. True dat. And some of their wins I tallied were on neutral courts, as well. I'm tired of doing the math, so let's just say that they're something like 81-5 at home. Also, I recall reading somewhere that we were their first home loss since early 2008.

The Zags lost to Portland St in 2008-09.
