Army is looking pretty good so far. Another tough Rich Ellerson team.

They are doing a very nice job of turning that program around. It was definitely a mess prior to their arrival. Have to think that RL will have a good plan for defending their version of the option and that our skill people will give their defense some real match-up problems as they did with Navy.

Yessir, I have no doubt we'll win but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a battle. Although after seeing SMU's RB cut through their defense on that last drive, I'm thinking RH2 is going to have a field day.

What I saw today was a quite slow option team that could not compete with Navy, nor Air Force. Don't know if their QB will be back, but he is butt slow. A pretty good defense though. We would absolutely smoke them this year. Next year in game two, we'll see if we have WRs solidified to keep them on their heels and off Ronnie. So much rides on the emergence of Ruffin, Waddell, etc. I am not a Sandifer fan as of today.

Sandifer is a good posession reciever. Rumor has it we have a pretty decent TE also. Old habits die hard but believe your eyes. Brady has the team on another level.

I've been following the Black Knights with a keen eye the past two seasons. They are MUCH improved. Rich Ellerson is a heck of a coach. They are going in the right direction.

does cal poly run the triple option as well? Are we seriously going to face 3 straight option teams?

does cal poly run the triple option as well? Are we seriously going to face 3 straight option teams? Actually... I'd say that's a GREAT thing. Consolidates all your option package preparation into one window of the season. MUCH better than having 3 games against option teams sprinkled at three-game intervals through the season...

I agree, I just find it rather strange. There are around 200 schools between 1a and 1aa, 4 run it at 1a, I don't know how many at 1aa, but it can't be a lot, the odds seem odd to face it so many time in a row; then again, how many times do you face a school one week and then the school he left for the next week. Should bode well for us
