Burns & Company face #7 Texas A & M (10-1) tonight in the Championship game of the Surf 'n Slam at Viejas around 7 tonight. Aztecs have won six of their last eight. Should be a good test before beginning MWC play. Hopefully we can get some butts in the seats.

Ugh. They need to stop scheduling anything the day of the Holiday Bowl. HusBone and I will be at Viejas, front and center.

Agree. But other than an enjoyable Poinsettia Bowl, the rest of the bowl games have been disappointing to watch. Hoops tonight and tomorrow at Viejas good change of pace. Ticket for tonight are $6 each, so taking two newbies tonight.

I'm on it, the ladies have improved their game. The other night they looked a little more polished and were hitting the shots that needed too, to burn the zone.
The game tonight will be a good measure as to how far they have come. T A&M is very good inside too. They have a "house" in the 5, and she is good. I expect PJ may foul out on this one. But Bradley may survive. A&M has speed which is our soft spot this year, but will play a man defense which should help us.
Gonna be a good one. Remember they took UCLA down to the wire and were not as polished as they are now.

54-14 Texas A&M at the half. Not good.

We are losing by 50 points now, with a lot of game left to play. On another note, the UCONN winning streak ended tonight, with a 71 to 59 loss to Stanford!

What happened in less than a year?? Lost a player that was good enough to be drafted to the pros.

And another one playing in Vienna, Austria. Q. They really miss her and Jene. That thumping tonight was something to behold. If the A&M coach hadn't put in the scrubs and the refs hadn't called about three times as many fouls on A&M in the second half, it could have been much worse. Oh My!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hang in there, Matt

I hope this doesn't happen next year when Kawhi and the seniors leave the team.

I hope this doesn't happen next year when Kawhi and the seniors leave the team. Hopefully it won't be this bad but there will be a step back. Even UNC fell to the NIT the year after winning the national title and UCLA has had a couple of rough years since losing Kevin Love.

Probably the most pathetic effort I've ever seen by an SDSU women's team in many years since Beth Burns' first stint here when games were played in Peterson Gym. These women could not hit water if they fell out of a boat. No defense--something Burns' team have been noted for in the past. Couldn't handle pressure--25 turnovers by the guards, led by Coco Davis with 8. She struggles on defense and lacks the speed of Q and Jene. Passes into the paint poor. Team picked for second in MWC. Have my doubts.
