Has anyone seen this guy play @ Ramona HS, or know any other details about this guy? I heard that SDSU was the first to offer a schollie, yet Rivals doesn't even show us on his radar: rivals.yahoo.com/sandiegostate/football/recruiting/player-Kwayde-Miller-120876He seems to be picking up some steam, getting recruited heavily from major BCS schools. His HS coach is Damon Baldwin, which may sound familiar to a few of you hardcore Aztecs fans. I'm hoping that connection will help us in getting him into the Red & Black. IMHO, Coach Hoke and company are absolutely lights out with recruiting--identifying and offering early, etc. This is another example.

I believe that we already have 4 "O" line commits. I'm not sure if we'll take another one.

If BCS schools are noticing him, I'd wouldn't pass him up. Our young line won't stay young forever and quality depth will be crucial if we expect to maintain success.
You can bet incoming QBs and RBs will notice if you are maintaining a strong line. If not, they'll look elsewhere as they need all the big bodies to help protect their health and careers.
Oldie Out

SDSU has a ready offered Miller. NCT - Kwayde Miller is 6-8, 280 pounds and just a junior. He is raw, but San Diego State has already offered him a scholarship. Miller, who was a key contributor on the Ramona basketball team as a sophomore, will line up as a tight end for the Bulldogs, but his future is at offensive tackle. www.nctimes.com/sports/high-school/football/f9f59999-bc3f-5670-af96-af20deb7b597.htmlramonasentinel.com - The big man, Kwayde Miller, will only be a junior next school year, but the 6’8” tight end in football and center in basketball has been to three football camps conducted at Division I universities. Miller has been to camps at San Diego State University, the University of Southern California and the University of Notre Dame. San Diego State has offered to save a scholarship for Kwayde. USC and Notre Dame are among the elite football schools in Division I, which is now called the Football Bowl Subdivision. www.ramonasentinel.com/article/Sports/Sports/Bulldogs_prepare_for_next_level/20697
