Just heard it on the news. I hope he wins and that SDSU gets mentioned about 1,000 times.

Just heard it on the news. I hope he wins and that SDSU gets mentioned about 1,000 times. Major pub coming out way that night. And also we will see one of the reasons the Admins will probably stay with Tony Gwynn. His name will be thrown out there about 1,000 times as the Coach of the Aztecs. We couldn't buy that kind of pub.

Just heard it on the news. I hope he wins and that SDSU gets mentioned about 1,000 times. What the hey - the fact that he is an SDSU alum and how fat and lazy he was when he first came to SDSU will be a long running story, as will the fact that he pretty much relied upon his fast ball but learned about breaking balls and, most importantly, his change-up, at SDSU. I don't see any downside if T sells this properly, given that an SDSU alum signed the largest contract in MLB history and managed to do it because of SDSU coaching. Stras is the Kyle Turley of SDSU baseball. =Bob

The hype surrounding Strasburg is second only to Sidd Finch.

The hype surrounding Strasburg is second only to Sidd Finch. Finch had a better fastball. What was it clocked 109mph
