Remember the big brew-ha-ha when someone in States's enrollment office questioned Ronnie Hillman's entrance exams as looking a little fishy? One was good, and one, not so much. The hue and cry that went up because he was green lighted by the NCAA academic review folks as OK, but the administration said "not so fast!" And there was talk on this board about how there is such an anti-athletic sentiment in admin. and they were making a mess of things. Well, it seems there was a basketball standout at U of Kentucky, Eric Bledsoe, who was cleared by the NCAA academically on several levels, and now he's being investigated by the NCAA who is questioning his academic history and recruitment, according to the "New York Times." I'm not sure how long ago he played, but it appears there could be consequences to the school if, in fact, there are some irregularities. Maybe the morale of this story is, you can't be too careful!

Hopefully Amissions knows what they are doing and we are just fans who keep wanting the best. Its good Hillman stuck with us. Looking forward to seeing what he can do this fall.
