vs Cal Poly (09-03-2011)
@army (09-10-2011)
vs Washington State (09-17-2011)
@michigan (09-24-2011)
vs Fresno State (12-03-2011)
MWC: @ Air Force, @ Boise State, @ Colorado State, vs New Mexico, vs TCU, @unlv, vs Wyoming
Man, the Aztecs just won the Poinsettia Bowl and I'm already excited for next year. I want to see SDSU break out of that BCS opponent hump against both the Cougars and Wolverines. I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but SDSU's performance this season has got me feeling that the Aztecs can pull out the win on the Smurf Turf. At the very least, it will be a very close close (ala SDSU @ TCU this season). Just wanted to put that out.

Want to see a noticable uptick in season tickets in the off season so we have a real home field advantage just like we do in basketball.

Can't wait to see who steps up in the receiving corp to take the place of Brown and Sampson. Also looking forward to seeing all those talented D-Linemen who redshirted this year.

Speaking of next year...
Wife and I sat in the Lodge Section 46 tonight, and though The Show wasn't all there, it was obvious many were. With the singing of "I believe that we will win," numerous "Whoooooos" and the conversations we heard.
I doubt this is there season tix section due to the Aztecs not really being in charge of tix for this bowl game. Where is the section that many of you/them do sit in during the season?
I Believe that we can grow "The Football Show" one section at a time!

From what I can see, SDSU's key losses are: Trask Iosefa, OL; Ernie Lawson, DL; DeMarco Sampson, WR; Vincent Brown, WR; and Jose Perez, CB. With Lindley, Hillman, and most of the OL returning, the Aztecs will be in good shape in '11. Add to that two great tight ends in Escobar and Umuolo (returning from a redshirt year), and SDSU is ready to rock 'n' roll!

I know it seems strange to say but even with the loss of those key guys, I think this offense can be even more explosive next year...

Are we looking at any JUCO WR's that can come in and make and immediate impact? Or do we have some red shirts with the size and speed that will be ready to go?

I'm thinking the most underappreciated player we're losing is Brandon Sullivan and his blocking ability. Chad Young does look great when he's hunting for someone to knock down but his pass-catching skills won't make us forget Sullivan. Speaking od Iosefa, other than the bad snap in the Poinsettia Bowl, I don't remember any other bad QB-center exchanges all year.

Speaking od Iosefa, other than the bad snap in the Poinsettia Bowl, I don't remember any other bad QB-center exchanges his entire career. Fixed it for you. He was about as rock solid at center as we've ever had. I've said it before but I think he's the Eddie Imo of our generation. (Older Aztecs know who I'm talking about)

;D The only reason I remember is because he was a high school teammate of my dad's at Kearny.

I hope they save the Sky Show for the New Mexico game.

Sullivan will be missed too! He did whatever he was asked and did it well. Yes. I think the leadership he displayed this year will be missed more than anything. Burris should fill that role on the defense but we need somebody to step up and replace Brandon on the offensive side of the ball. Maybe Lindley?

Ezell Ruffin is an incredible talent! Wow! I would not be surprised at all if he ends up stepping right in and filling Vincent Brown's shoes perfectly - and that is saying something.

I think Preston will be sorely missed. Hang in there, Matt
