www.westernjournalism.com/?p=8142Now I doubt that it will happen due to the make up of Congress at present. How about after November? Still a long shot since this will all be old news by then.

Will, this is why most people haven't bothered to migrate to this site until they had no other choice. Your site has basically been nothing more than a few right-wing whining, Glenn Beck loving idiots attacking Obama because you and they believe that there is something wrong with any Democrat ever being President.
The stupidity of this is beyond belief.

Drudge is writing about it. Sean Hannity is talking about it. Dick Morris is saying that the potential scandal is “enormous.”. Karl Rove called it an “extraordinary charge.” WorldNetDaily.com wrote that “it could be grounds for impeachment.”
Faux News and World Net Daily. Yup, great sources. It's really sad to see someone your age lose their mental faculties. You're far to young to have done so, but I guess spending all your time in some condo in North County, doing nothing but playing golf and slugging down margaritas will do that to you.

Crossing topics, the odds of President Barack HUSSEIN, (give me a freaking break, that's his name, deal with it), Obama being impeached is about the same as the SDSU Aztec football team winning 10 games. Dream on. And please, get real.

It is the Republicans who have better ideas but fail miserably on putting those ideas into motion that have caused them to lose their way. Republicans are just as big spenders as are most Democrats and some of the Social Issues get muddled as well. I agree that impeachment chances are slim and would leave us with just as big a leadership vacuum as we have now. Our hope is that we can get some fiscal Conservatives elected in November and make Obama powerless for the remainder of his singe term. Aztecs winning ten this year? Could happen! I could hit the lottery as well.

You guys are in your own little world when you consider the quote "Now, all of a sudden, everyone is talking about the possibility of impeaching Barack Obama." I pity you if you really think that Drudge, Sean Hannity, Dick Morris, Karl Rove, and Limbaugh to be "Everybody".

Like taking candy from a baby.... you can tell the guys on here who absorb the talking points every day and don't do any research on their own.

republicans held the White house for 20 of the 28 years between 1980 and 2008. Whatever shape this country is in is due mostly to republicans IF you believe the president is powerful enough to effect change. If you don't believe the president is powerful enough to effect change, then you can't really blame Obama for much. Before 1980, the republicans were characterized by the following beliefs among others: - Taxes should be as low as possible but as high as necessary.
- Spending should be minimized without endangering the poor.
- People should be free to pursue happiness so long as it didn't interfere with that of other people.
- We should have a strong national defense.
- Business should be regulated as little as possible but as much as necessary.
- Religion was a private matter.
To summarize, they weren't a bunch of heartless assholes. (I'm mainly talking about the high-profile republicans---no one on here of course.) If that party existed today, I don't see how they'd lose an election. In other words, back in the day, republicans really wanted government "off our backs" as much as possible in every aspect of life. Now they only want government out of rich people's wallets. Today's republican party now wants government ON the backs of those who don't share their attitudes. It's a shame because there are probably many americans who can't vote for Democrats because they're soft on national security (the issue that trumps all others) and can't vote for republicans because they don't want religion imposed on them (censorship, "creation science" etc.). Great post JYP. Now wait for it.......

Not a bad post and one of the reasons that many folks now identify with being Conservative or Independent rather than Republican or Democrat. It is why that many folks rather than "waste" their vote, walk in to the polling place and hold their nose while they cast their ballet.

Well said JYP. I have never been conservative but your Conservatives of the Past could be reasoned with. And the Dems would list too.
