Very nice event. Lots of Aztec fans. Everyone wearing red and black. Brady Hoke was the special guest. I will try to put up a Youtube video of his six-minute talk, but my computer is down, and I have to try to do it without my wires.
I told him I felt he had changed the philosophy at SDSU football from "good enough" to "good enough is not good enough!" He wants me to come into the locker room to address the team. Of course, he was kidding, but maybe next year. Yeah!
President Weber gave an inspiring speech, too. He said tomorrow's UT will have an article saying that SDSU's athletic teams' graduation rate jumped 28%--highest in the nation.
See you tomorrow night at the Gaslamp for the free Battle of the Bands at 6pm and party at Jimmy Love's from 7-10pm. Don't let a little rain scare you away!

President Weber referred to his many years on the Mesa, and then said that the recent sports success is among the most fun!
Aztecs sports in 2010-2011 is a great retirement gift for Dr. Weber.

Is there any doubt that this University will sorely miss Dr. Weber? I wish there was a way to get him to stay. Maybe an anonymous donor?
