Billy White was tenacious, a man possessed, on defense.
It's one thing to have talent, which this team obviously does, it's a whole 'nother thing when a talented team plays hard, plays tough, plays unselfish and has the chemistry that this team has.
As a longtime college basketball nut, these are the qualities that make talented teams...special teams.

You make a great point. Between Kawhi and Billy, life was miserable for Orlando Johnson and Nunnally. You could see how dejected Nunnally was, having Billy in his shorts all game. He looked like he knew he had no chance 5 minutes into the game. Ditto Kawhi on Orlando Johnson, although at least Orlando had more fight in him. He tried everything he could to shake Kawhi, to no avail. Great man to man defense Billy and Kawhi!

I liked the fact that in the first have when the UCSB guard got in Billy Blanco's face not one Aztec backed down they were a team and had Billy's back. Carwell came in and cleaned up the little scrum.

Fisher made a point to recognize Billy in the postgame radio interview. He said Billy has been practicing that way and it carried over to the game.
Was also nice to see at least 2 5 second calls.

Harris was a non factor in that game.
