My .02 cents. The PA and piped in music have to much control over the situation. The student section should be a spontaneous emotional act. That is what create true excitement at games. The student section should not be "told when" they should do certain things. It is their school, their game, and they should do "I Believe" and "Victorious" whenever THEY want to and as many times as they want to. All they would have to do is co-ordinate with the pep band. Spontaneous excitement is what makes college sports (and sports in general) so great. Not planned excitement. Let the PA guy announce when he has a chance to get something in. Let the fans enjoy the game and have fun. It's not just piped music. It's advertisers who have paid to have their product marketed during a specific time. We've done the I Believe and Muse mid game in the midst of whatever was going on and wen its appropriate we will do it again. But it doesn't always have to be US vs. THE ADMINISTRATION. We actually like to work together on things too. I think unity goes a lot further than bitter, resentful, conflict.

Enjoy it. ***Interesting that you used these words (in black) in a post to me... bitter, resentful, conflict. Those words are exactly what you have become towards me.***

My only comment as far as participatory things goes is moving the "I believe..." to the time between "STEEEEEEEEVE FISHERRRRRR" and the tip. Agree. That would be the ideal time. It would mean getting rid of one of the playings of the fight song and that black eyed peas intro. Not sure if it can be done, but we're going to push for it.
