Maybe that's the price we pay for not having to dress like Eskimoes in December, January, and February. Some sort of cosmic justice system. (Have you ever been in St. Cloud, Minnesota in Winter? I have! It was awful, and the natives were bragging about how mild the weather was that year! ;D)

Don't forget the San Diego Sockers string of championships in the 1980's. However the point is clear, in championship moments San Diego teams usually come up short.

Gulls were great for low minor league hockey. Until they folded. Didn't the Gulls do pretty well in hockey as well? |
