Your choice(s) can be either realistic or wishful. You must sign-in to vote...
My choices were UConn, Memphis, Creighton & UNLV. The first three will help lure UNLV to the conference. These additions will push the new television contract(s) closer to the $15 million/yr threshold.

think a lot could be on exit fees - legal cases ? As things stand now, no more MW Schools, rumored media deal above $12 mil, and rumored TSU entry. Coupled with history and precedent indicating that exit fees come down, payments get stretched out. Memphis, Tulane all Sports. Wichita State and Creighton Olys. All bring baseball which the PAC needs to grow. Basketball, woo hoo ! I would also take UConn FB on the condition they play a 6 game basketball schedule against the Pac. They choose the games. Three west Coast and three East Coast. Mix of neutral sites and home courts. Would that be worth giving them a full share ? 🤔 If the poaching fees come down significantly, grab UNLV before the ink dries. (On my knees offering salutations to the re-alignment Gods)

Have always discounted UConn as FB only though tying that into a scheduling agreement for BB might make some sense. But, I see them as a long shot right now.

If the Gods found my offerings and prayers worthy, adding Creighton and Wichita State would probably come after snagging Tulphis and UConn under the stated terms. Realistically, the AAC squads want to hold off until 2027 when their exit fees come down. If the Pac gets north of $10 mil media, Texas State to hit their number, and they snag some quality Bowls, I can see the cascading effect fall into place. I think UNLV wants in if the Courts rule in the Pacs favor. That, and Dan Mullen is not sticking around to Coach even in a cash fattened MW. Or, they come in 2032 when their bribe money expires. As to the Pac-Sac State rumblings, they are moving FB up to FBS and will likely get a PAC scheduling agreement (all roadies) with a smallish payday to cover expenses and a little more for their purse. They may be able to squeeze out a couple home basketball tilts against Fresno and SDSU as they have fans in the Sac area.

It seems Texas State is the hottest name right now. I still think the Pac wants Memphis, Tulane and will add UTSA to get a 4 team pod to the east.
Then you could create two other pods to help decrease travel and build rivalries.
North - WSU, OSU, BSU, USU
West - CSU, UNLV, FSU, SDSU

so as far as TV Viewers who draws more Texas State or SAC State ?
As for UNLV do they enjoy being one of the better teams in the MW compared to having to work harder in the PAC ? and also the Exit fees ?
Is Texas State fairly close to U of Texas ? if so what kind of numbers would they add for TV Deal
would be nice to add schools from Texas to help recruiting and if they are close to an airport for travel

UNLV might want in at that point, but will there be a seat left when the music stops? The only people promoting SacSt are the people from SacSt. Even the MWC bypassed them for Davis.

St Mary's for hoops, and UNLV for all sports.
Ideally, I would love the PAC Whatever to stay as regional as possible.

Texas State is about 30 miles from Austin where the Longhorns play - so would expect that most of the people near Texas State are more then likely Longhorns/ SEC fans so doubt that the PAC adds many TV Viewers
Would ask do you think that most of the people around Sacramento areas watch what school and about how many Viewers do they get ?
UNLV is not likely to go to the PAC unless exit fees are dropped - as they are now very likely to be the top football team in the MW going forward and close to it in basketball even though it will not be a decent conference
