This would be a double-good for us, boost RPI for win against Gonzaga, and bump Baylor down in the rankings.

Gonzaga needs to right the ship. Another big game on the docket today - BYU v UCLA. As much as a BYU win would be good for the conference, I just keep finding myself hoping they get slapped around.

In general I would agree about BYU, but vs UCLA... I can still find a way to hope for a 0-0 tie. Or a 1-0 BYU win.

Gonzaga over Baylor would be huge, but another game of note today is Wichita St at LSU. LSU is 7-3 and a win for Wichita on the road over a powerful SEC team would look very impressive for them (and us).
USC just lost 68-70 at Kansas. This would have been a very solid trickle down win had USC pulled it out because because TCU has already beat USC earlier this year.

You are right. Also, LSU just got upset by McNeese State.
I believe McNeese State is a member of the Southland Conf. LSU is struggling and Wichita State has been on a roll at home.

I want THE CHEATERS to beat UCLAP, but I want the win to be by virtue of of THE CHEATERS cheating. That way we'll get more RPI mileage out of our demolishing THE CHEATERS, and it will be one more piece of evidence that THE CHEATERS can only win by cheating. After all, that's what they do - cheat. LBSU plays St Mary's right now, I am rooting LBSU because they won't have many chances for good wins.
St Mary's play a good Mississipi State team in a week and a half, LBSU plays a mediocre ASU team on road on Tuesday. Hopefully UC Santa Barbara and LBSU run away from big west and only lose to each other and Cal Poly does decent.

Wow! Do you see how empty those stands are? Baylor is ranked #9 and Gonzaga is a very good team and the arena is half empty. Makes our sellouts and near sellouts even that more impressive!

Zags need to get Gray back on the court. Anybody have an update on his injury? Back spasms. They're working on loosening Gray up to get him back on the floor. Still out at this point. Go Zags!

Baylor is getting some serious home cooking from the refs.
